When Monty asks himself why are books so dangerous it made me think of different ways that a book may be dangerous. It usually depends on the title or where the book came from because if people think books are dangerous then the book must have a dangerous past in order for it to be dangerous. If you examples of books that might be dangerous because of the past is probably the book is cursed or the book was written by a psychopath or something around those lines. The book might be dangerous and illegal because it might want to influence the reader to do some unspeakable acts.
When Montag hit the book under his pillow it made me think of the old times even though this is in the future. That scene in the book got me really curious because people see if you put your phone under your pillow that the Wi-Fi rings aren’t good for your head and can cause cancer. This made Me think of the old times when there weren’t any phones around and people would read books to fall asleep at night and although the book takes place in the future it kind of made me go back in time which I thought was really interesting.
When the hound was looking for Montaigne it made me think of how our society and how are tracking devices such as our phones and cameras will improve over the years such as the hound that that supposedly said to track down any person might be coming in the future whether it’s through military use or through the FBI. As always there’s always a way to get around things and I thought it was pretty cool how he outsmarted the hound by floating down the river.
It’s really interesting how now that people don’t really read books people are making books about burning books but yet it still influence how they want to start a different society where books are known as royalty. Such as the books ending when he meets the riders and clergyman’s and how they want to rebuild a new society when the whole city is torn apart.
